Russia is open to anything if it means resolving conflict with Ukraine

(MENAFN) Russia has stated it does not dismiss any diplomatic approaches, whether bilateral or trilateral, to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, according to reports.

Speaking on state television, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov emphasized that any high-level contacts regarding Ukraine must be "extremely carefully" prepared.

He also stressed that discussions about long-term agreements are impossible without acknowledging Russia's security and protecting the rights of Russians in Ukraine.

Recently, U.S. President Donald Trump mentioned on social media that he had contacted Russian President Vladimir Putin to start organizing a bilateral meeting between Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, with the location yet to be decided. Trump added that following a Putin-Zelensky meeting, a trilateral session including leaders from the U.S., Russia, and Ukraine would take place.
