China, Poland vow to boost two-sided relations

(MENAFN) On Monday, both China and Poland pledged to boost their two-sided ties, as China’s foreign minister met with Polish Leader Karol Nawrocki as well as the country’s top diplomat, Radoslaw Sikorski.

In a meeting between him and Nawrocki in Warsaw, Wang Yi said that Beijing holds in high regard Poland's position and sway in Europe and the globe. He affirmed China's commitment to continue enhancing foundational mutual confidence and practical collaboration with Poland.

According to a statement by the Foreign Ministry of China, Wang voiced his wishes for Poland to be an active player in “promoting an objective and rational understanding” of China in the European Union.

As for him, Nawrocki said that Poland is willing to enhance collaboration between both nations, advocate the ongoing improvement of two-sided relations, and collectively promote global peace and security.

While visiting, Wang Yi gathered with Polish Deputy Prime Minister as well as Foreign Minister Sikorski and headed the 4th deliberative assembly of the China-Poland Intergovernmental Cooperation Committee.
