Moonlit Gives AI the Research Work and People the Final Say

Your AI does the prep. You say yes. Moonlit campaign illustration: approval.

The participant sees both the proposed answer and its reward and decides whether to submit it.

People choose to join paid research, then approve each proposed answer after seeing both the content and the reward.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, UNITED STATES, October 22, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- A person may want their AI to earn money without giving it permission to share everything it knows. Moonlit separates those decisions: people opt into paid research, then decide about each proposed answer.

The consumer research service from Vulture Labs lets an assistant look for permitted information and prepare a response to a company's question. Before submitting, it shows the person the answer and the reward. The person can approve or decline.

Joining Moonlit is therefore the beginning of the workflow, not approval for all future answers. A separate participation choice explains the incentive. Approval is requested again for each draft. Sensitive questions are handed back to the person instead of being answered from an assistant's guess.

For example, an assistant might find a billing record that answers a question about a subscription. That search can save the person the work of finding the record and writing the response. It does not remove the person's decision about whether to share the resulting answer for the offered reward.

Companies receive aggregated research, with groups smaller than five withheld. Moonlit does not give them direct access to participants' inboxes. Approved submissions can carry limited source information so the basis of an answer can be reviewed.

Accepted answers earn rewards subject to verification. Participation is for U.S. adults 18 and over. Rewards have a seven-day verification hold, and ready balances of at least $20 can be paid through Stripe. Available studies and eligibility determine how much a person can earn.

The offer is a paying task for the AI with a decision left to its owner. People can review the participation terms at https://askmoonlit.com/terms and connect an assistant at https://askmoonlit.com/setup.
